The seasonal drawdown of Norris Lake has continued at a rapid pace since our message on August 7th. Currently, the water level is approximately 5 feet lower than it was at this same time last year. Within the next couple of days, TVA predicts that the water level will decrease another 1 foot to approximately 1008 feet above sea level. Due to the faster than anticipated drawdown, we will remove the community pontoon boats from the Marina after this upcoming week-end.
Boat reservations for Monday, August 22nd or later will be cancelled due to the low water level of the lake. If you have a boat in the Marina, please make arrangements to remove it by this week-end. If you need assistance, please let us know.
