Hello Everyone,
Our new pontoon boat (Boat #4) has been delivered, put into the water, and is available for reservation now. Boat #4 is a 22-foot pontoon boat with a 90-horsepower engine and is configured for up to 14 persons with a total weight of up to 2,280 pounds (average of 162 pounds per person).
Important Points about this Boat:
- The trim/tilt has been disabled on the throttle column because there is no limiter to prevent the engine from being raised high enough for the engine cover to be damaged by the pontoon deck. If you need to tilt the motor up for any reason, turn over the motor and use the tilt switch that is located on the motor cover.
- The fuel tank is located under a cover on the rear of the boat deck. The fuel filler cap has a fuel gauge incorporated into it. The fuel gauge on the tank is more accurate than the fuel gauge on the console. Please use the fuel gauge on the tank to determine how much fuel is available for use.
General Reminders!
- Pontoon boats must be reserved at “pphoa.org” by a Pinnacle Pointe property owner.
- A Pinnacle Pointe property owner must be on board the boat while being operated.
- Tennessee state law requires that, “All children 12 years of age and younger … wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved PFD [personal floatation device], while on the open deck of a recreational boat, when the boat is underway.” PPHOA provides only adult-size PFDs on pontoon boats. Parents must provide PDFs that are size-appropriate for their children.
- Please return pontoon boat with the fuel tank at least half full. If a boat is less than half full at the beginning of your reservation time, please notify Steven Marmon (949.462.4760) or Craig Jensen (906.396.8329) immediately.
