Plans are being finalized for the Fourth Annual “Highlands / Leadmine Bend / Pinnacle Pointe” 4th of July Celebration. The event will be held on Saturday, July 6th, with dinner at the Pinnacle Pointe Clubhouse parking lot and conclude with a fireworks display that can be viewed at The Highlands Common Area. This will be a community-wide celebration that includes The Highlands, Leadmine Bend, and Pinnacle Pointe neighborhoods. Here are the final details:
5:30pm until 7:00pm (Saturday) -> Food @ Pinnacle Pointe Clubhouse
- Catered Food from Buddy’s Bar-B-Q
- BBQ Pork, Hot Dogs, & Chicken will be provided
- Iced Tea, Lemonade & Water will be provided – BYOB other beverages
- Side dishes are welcome, but not required
- Bring you own chairs, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
- It will be warm and humid – don’t forget to bring your patience and sense of humor
7:30pm until 10:00pm (Saturday) -> Live Bluegrass Music & Fireworks @ The Highlands Common Area
- The Highlands Common Area is located ½ mile away from Pinnacle Pointe on Highland Trace
- Live Bluegrass provided by local musicians beginning @ 7:30pm
- Chinese Lantern Lighting @ Dusk -> Bring your own lighter
- Fireworks over the water @ 9:30pm (provided by members of The Highlands)
- Bring your own chairs, beverages, and a flashlight
- For safety reasons, do not bring any fireworks
