Hello Fellow Association Members,
TVA has begun its seasonal drawdown of the lake and we anticipate that the cove where our marina is located will be “Out of Service” shortly after Labor Day (if not before). If you have a private boat in the marina, you should make arrangements to remove it before the end of the Labor Day week-end. If you need assistance, please contact Steven Marmon at (949) 462-4760 or steven.marmon@me.com.
We hope to keep the community pontoon boats in the marina through the Labor Day week-end. But, given the rate of this year’s drawdown, the boats may need to be removed earlier.
Traditionally, we have used a minimum water level of 1008 feet (above mean sea level) to guide when the community boats could be put into or should be removed from the marina. There may be some additional margin of safety since the marina anchors were set down into the lake bed a couple of years ago.
