COVID-19 Impact on PPHOA Amenities

Hello All,

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with state and local guidance, the Board of Directors have determined that the PPHOA amenities are “non-essential” services. The primary concerns behind this decision is that we cannot maintain appropriate social distancing nor do we have the ability to guarantee that touch surfaces are adequately sanitized between people and contact. Accordingly, the following actions will be implemented with immediate effect, until further notice:

  1. Clubhouse / Pavilion: The clubhouse is closed and cannot be entered except for essential maintenance. In addition, reservations will not be accepted for the clubhouse or pavilion until they have been reopened. Any existing reservations will be cancelled during the ongoing health emergency.
  2. Swimming Pool: The pool will remain closed until further notice. Only essential maintenance will be performed until May, then it will be brought back into operation (in preparation for Summer use). However, the pool will not reopen for use until the health emergency has passed.
  3. Community Pontoon Boats: The pontoons will remain out of service; however, the Marina is available for private watercraft of PPHOA property owners. Property owners are expected to maintain appropriate social distancing.
  4. Annual Homeowners Meeting: The annual meeting is scheduled for Saturday, May 16th at 12:00 noon. However, the year’s meeting will be held as a virtual (webcast) presentation.  More information will be sent as the meeting date nears.

These decisions were taken with great consideration and thought about the safety of our property owners and their guests. We sincerely appreciate everyone’s support and understanding of this very difficult situation. We hope everyone stays safe and healthy.
