Hello Everyone,
Boats #1 and #4 have been put into service and will be available for reservation beginning at 8:00am on Wednesday, June 10, 2020.
COVID-19 Reminders:
- Limit the size of your party to maintain adequate physical distancing between non-family members.
- Clean all touch surfaces at the beginning and end of the rental period, using the cleaning products supplied by PPHOA.
- Be sure that no one in your party is suffering from symptoms of the coronavirus or has been in contact with someone who is.
Other Important Reminders:
- Pontoon boats must be reserved at “pphoa.org” by a Pinnacle Pointe property owner.
- A Pinnacle Pointe property owner must be on board the boat while being operated.
- Tennessee state law requires that, “All children 12 years of age and younger … wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved PFD [personal floatation device], while on the open deck of a recreational boat, when the boat is underway.” PPHOA provides only adult-size PFDs on pontoon boats. Parents must provide PDFs that are size-appropriate for their children.
- There are reports of semi-submerged logs and other objects in the water. Go slow in areas where trash tends to collect.
- Per our Boat Rental agreement, any property owner that damages a boat is responsible for the repair costs that exceed our insurance coverage limits. It’s important to note that our insurance does not cover damage that occurs “below the waterline.” So, go slow and be vigilant for below-the-surface objects in the water.
- As always, we ask you to return the pontoon boat with the fuel tank at least half full. Operating hours at the nearby Marinas may be inconsistent, especially on weekdays. Consider refueling your boat at the beginning of your rental period to avoid bringing it back to our marina with less than half a tank.
- If a boat is less than half full at the beginning of your reservation time, please notify Steven Marmon (949.462.4760) or Bobby Cross (865.438.7952) immediately.
