2024 Annual Meeting Review

Overall, this has been a great year at Pinnacle Pointe! We all have had the opportunity to come together and complete a few important projects and get together and enjoy some time together and mingle at the Summer Picnic and the Christmas Potluck!

During this past Saturday we had our 2024 Annual meeting and board elections. First off, we would like to thank everyone who made it out to attend the meeting in person! It was great to see everyone and really appreciate everyone’s participation. We would like to also thank everyone that wasn’t able to attend that sent in proxy designations. With only 25 lot owners present representing 29 voting lots we definitely needed the proxies to conduct business so Thank You!!!

Old business was discussed. Review of current amenities and condition and ongoing maintenance & care. New upgrades to the pool furniture and pool pump. Upkeep of the dock and continuing battle of the birds and wasps!!! Future repairs needed for the gates at Pinnacle Pointe Way. Then we discussed options for possible interior repairs for the community boats. We also installed a ramp extension on the dock gangway along with a new commercial style mailbox for the HOA at the club house. The board presented the proposed bylaw amendments and corrections ballot results and the HOA majority voted to pass and implement the amendments.

The board recommendation to accept bids for the sale of Lot AML01(Gazebo) was successful and two bids were received with the high bid of $8650.00 being awarded to Bob & Julie Johnson. With this the motion was made and seconded to sell the lot and this passed unanimously. We thank them for their purchase, and we look forward to reinvesting these funds into the new proposed outdoor gathering area and fire pit to be installed this fall.

Under New Business, plans for the new Gazebo/Outdoor Gathering Area were discussed and a comity was established to begin design elements. The annual picnic was discussed, and the date was set for July 6th from 4-8pm. With the success of last year’s Christmas Potluck, we decided to do it again and that is scheduled for December 14th from 6-10pm.

Discussion and Ideas for new amenities and or improvements were outlined, and we started a list of things the community would like to see on a one-, three-, and five-year plan. This list will be reviewed regularly by the board, and as we have funds and time, we will work towards implementing as many ideas as we can accommodate. Taking in consideration safety, usage and cost effectiveness along with getting the best value from our funds to make the biggest positive impact our residents and active lot owners!

Lastly, we held the annual elections of board members. Four seats were open, and we would like to welcome back our incumbent Treasurer Sue Koessler, and welcome in the three new board members Harvey Baker as VP, Brian Allison as Secretary and Robert Johnson as a board member! I would also like to extend Robert Cross and Judi Jensen a huge Thank You, for there years of dedication and service on the PPHOA Board!!! Your community Thanks You!!!
