Dear Pinnacle Pointe Community,
We are reaching out today with heartbreaking news. On the morning of November 19, Scott Kerney’s family suffered a devastating house fire that completely destroyed his childhood home. While Scott himself did not live there, his sister and nephew did—and they tragically lost everything in the fire as it was burned to its foundation.
As many of you know, Scott is an integral and deeply valued part of our Pinnacle Pointe community. He has consistently gone above and beyond—caring for our community spaces, maintaining the pool, assisting with the marina, supporting individual properties, managing lawn maintenance, and lending a hand on countless projects. His dedication and generosity have touched every one of us.
Now, we have the opportunity to come together and support Scott’s family during an unimaginable time.
If you are able, we ask that you consider making a financial contribution to help his sister begin rebuilding:
- Venmo: Sue Koessler — @SueKoessler
- Cash or Check: Drop off or mail to Judi Jensen, 270 Pinnacle Pointe Way Sharps Chapel TN 37866
To ensure full transparency, Sue and Judi will document all donations, and we will share the collective contribution with the community. Truly, any amount—large or small—will make a meaningful difference for this family.
We will make an initial effort to provide a donation to Scott by the Thanksgiving holiday, however any contributions that come in afterwards, will be targeted for delivery to Scott by November 30th.
Thank you all for your compassion, generosity, and willingness to lift a family who has given so much to ours.
If there are any questions, please reach out to Sue or Judi
