Spring is here and TVA is raising the water level of Norris Lake for the recreational season. Over the next three (3) weeks, we will be bringing the community pontoons out of storage and putting them into service. By Saturday, April 15th, we expect to have all three (3) boats in service and available for reservation. As each boat is put into service, we will post a message here and update the reservation system to indicate the boat’s availability.
The water level is predicted by TVA to be 1008 feet above mean sea level within the next couple of days. So, most of the boat slips will be available for use for property owners’ boats and water craft by this weekend, April 1st.
Lastly, we are targeting the end of April for the seasonal opening of the pool. You will see progress beginning the weekend of April 15th as we uncover and refill the pool, restart the pump and filter, and bring the pool furniture back outside.
