TVA has already started dropping the water level, and it seems to be pretty rapidly! Please be aware that the water level has already been lowered almost 7 feet and at its current discharge it shows dropping approximately 4-6″ per day. If this continues the south end of the dock will be touching down within a week or so. If you have a boat at the marina you may need to move it and plan to take it out for the season earlier than expected! Also be advised that when the water reaches 1008′ we will be removing the community boats for the season so any reservations that are after this will be removed or canceled. Currently the level is at 1013.5′ and is expected to be at 1012.5 by 08/23/24. If any boat is left at the dock as it sets down, it can cause damage to the dock and your vessel! Please take notice and plan accordingly!!! Also, as a reminder the Lights and cameras on the dock will be shut off at the end of season, once all vessels are removed and the dock sets on land.
The Pool will remain open until the 23rd of October.!!! Enjoy our last few weeks of sunshine and our on-water season!!!
