It appears that some lucky members of our community escaped the “Great E-Blast Storm” that occurred earlier this week. So I am writing again to be sure that everyone is up-to-date on the following projects / issues.
- We have restored the old News Blast system. One difference is that emails will be sent in batches only once per day (at 7:00am). We attempted to switch over to a different provider that would permit instantaneous emails of our News Posts. But, as some of you learned first-hand, the new service turned out to be quite unreliable. So, we are back with the old, more dependable, but less-frequent, service.
- We are launching the boats this week. In addition, we are changing the “back end” of the website to better track who is eligible to rent a boat (i.e., who has been added to the insurance company’s list of approved operators). Depending on today’s weather, we should have all of the boats in the water and ready for use by Saturday (May 4th) morning. In addition, the reservation system should be back up and running by Saturday morning. An announcement will be made as soon as possible, once the boats are available for use and reservation.
- The lake level is almost at “full pool.” Property owners that want to moor their personal boats in the marina can do so on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The pool and pool house are open for the season. The water is still cool, but the shower is warm.
- The clubhouse is off-line until the burst water pipe is repaired. A plumber has identified the cause and we have procured the parts / materials to make the repairs. We hope to complete the repairs this week-end.
- Important Reminder: The Annual Homeowners Meeting will be held at the clubhouse on Saturday, May 18th at 12;00 noon.
