Its that time of year my friends! Spring has sprung and PPHOA is in full swing! Lots of updates and projects going on around the community. First off be cautious over the next few weeks as we are Painting, Staining and Pressure washing all around the Club House, Pool Area, Docks, Walk ways and New Gazebo. Watch your step and look out for fresh Paint/Stain.
The pool will be opening soon, we expect to have it ready by the end of April for your enjoyment.
There is a new path way through the TWRA Timber to access the ATV and Cart Parking area at the Dock! Please be advised you are NO LONGER to use the old path behind the pool house! This area crosses over on to someone else’s property, and they would appreciate it if we stop using this as it is NOT an access any longer. Also DO NOT attempt to use the sidewalks as a drive, anyone caught using these methods to drive on will risk losing their amenity privileges. Also, The waterfront access trail and parking are for ATVs/Carts ONLY, Absolutely no other vehicles are allowed past the Main upper parking lot.
The Boats are in the water and ready for the season! Please be advised that the same rules apply from past years! You MUST have a reservation to take a boat out. You MUST Be on the Insurance and approved by the board to have access to boat reservations. The Driver of the Boat MUST be on the insurance, and the primary lot or homeowner who made the reservation MUST be the only person to operate the vessel for the entire reservation. Every time you take the boat out it is your responsibility to return it back to its original parking spot, Clean, and with a MINIMUM of 1/2 TANK of FUEL! Also Retun the keys to there designated location. If any accidents and or damage occurs or is noticed, please notify Josh and or Richard Immediately!
Last but not Least! Our Annual Meeting is coming up in just a few short weeks. Sat. May 9th at 12 Noon. We would like to invite all owners to attend in person or VIA Proxy. It is very important that we have a quorum to be able to conduct business at this meeting! If you are not planning on attending in person, please respond to this email or contact a board member to assign your Proxy Vote. We will not be sending out physical letters this year so you will need to respond to one of the contacts below or in writing assign your proxy vote to a board member, neighbor, or someone that will be attending on your behalf. There are four board positions up for election this cycle, as of now we have not received any new interests to join the board and the seated members have all volunteered to stay on so unless we get potential interested candidate’s the four seats will run unopposed, but we will still open the floor to any interested parties at the meeting and vote on members during our New Business segment. If you need a Proxy form sent to you please contact Josh Assad at 217-820-7625 or president@pphoa.org or you can mail a physical letter with your assigned proxy to 199 Emerald Green Way Sharps Chapel, TN. 37866. Please include your full Name, Lot Number/s, Address, Phone Number, and your assigned Proxy Preference
